We have recently had inquiries by potential customers as to why a 4-5 week timeline is required to produce our Vin Compliance decals. Please note that each decal consists of different information, layout, color and hence each in its own right becomes a custom decal. As custom printers, all of our job orders are processed in the order than they are received. All job orders have a six stage process. Decal Restore’s goal is to complete each customer’s order as soon as possible, and rest assured, we work towards this goal on a daily basis by endeavoring to complete each stage of the process in the shortest time possible.
The six stages involved to complete a custom VIN compliance decal:
1) A graphic designer begins the mock-up process of the Vin decal.
2) The completed mock-up then has an individual print mold manufactured which is unique to each decal.
3) The print mold is then queued for printing.
4) The decal is printed and die-cut.
5.) The dot matrix machine is set to punch the Built Date and the VIN.
6) “Tamper resistant circle pattern” stamped over decal, if ordered.
